I have tender feelings for immigrants. I have known and loved several families and individuals who have faced real hardships to immigrate to my country of birth. I never supposed I would become one someday, an immigrant. Yet, there I stood, today, in my best linen dress, hoping for a chance to make the rest of my life, a new life, in Panama. I took in my surroundings with so much respect for everyone at the Panamanian Immigration Office, for those receiving and those assisting we “hopefuls”. It was emotionally powerful, poignant and deeply humbling. I was well prepared, and so grateful for Lourdes Miranda and her extraordinary team at Miranda & Contreras/Attorneys At Law. I have had other attorneys before but Miranda & Contreras have been able to assist me with things that others couldn’t. The entire team is efficient, friendly and extremely helpful. They keep you informed throughout the process and their pricing is very fair. I’ve used them now for several things and will only use them going forward. I would give 6 out of 5 stars if I could. I think it's only right to praise the firm of Miranda & Contreras. To an individual, they are the best I have ever worked with. It is said a chain is only as strong as its weakest link, and there are no weak links here. The professionalism and helpful nature of every member of the staff is truly a breath of fresh air. Juan Contreras and his associates were detail oriented, professional and so helpful. I didn’t have to chase them for answers or next steps, they were always on top of everything and answered my questions before I even asked them. They did a due diligence on the purchase of a property , contract review, foundation set up and tax payments. Speak perfect English.
