Juan Gabriel Contreras is the most excellent attorney in the Boquete and Chiriqui area. I would highly recommend him to anyone with a requirement for any legal process in Panama especially if you are a tourist or visitor. He speaks fluent English and is very honest and quick with information and solutions. He just helped me fast track a land purchase, and for a citizen from another country that is not easy to do. I am pleased to report that Lourdes Miranda and her team-I worked with Rosa and Damarys- are EXCEPTIONAL. This is my second time hiring the law services of Miranda and Contreras. The first was four years ago when they assisted with a long-term retirement visa for Panama. This time it was for a criminal background check with the Panamanian police required for application to Spain for a non-lucrative visa. With both encounters the communication has been excellent and they offer very easy payment options. They assist with document retrieval in the form of PDF and original paper documents via DHL. Overall, this law firm, with offices in Boquete and Panama City, is *first rate* and I wholeheartedly recommend without reservation!
